Here are my pros and cons:+ beautiful design+ good voice acting in comparison to many other games in this genre+ puzzles are interesting+ use of tablet as communication device, camera, UV-light, night vision ..+ nice music, and I loved the ambient sounds- I like it, when you can adjust difficulty levels to customary preferences, here you only have the three default difficutly levels - they are ok, so no major thing- game crashed once when I switched to desktop, otherwise it ran without any problems- although I found the story interesting, I could have done with a little less dialogue or more playable content between the existing dialogue ;)If you like HO-games with adventure elements, I can only recommend this.. I usually like Hidden Object games especially ones with achievements but I can't recommend this one I'm afraid. I just didn't warm to it from the start. The acting seemed very wooden and lacklustre and the hidden object scenes appeared chaotic and dark. I usually have no problem finding objects but the objects they asked me to find were unusual and cluttered. I didn't like the artstyle of the game either and the whole feel of the game left me frustrated.I gave up after only 17 minutes. I just couldn't stand it anymore.. I really liked the style of the game. Compared to other hidden object adventures I played, this one has an unique look and an intersting historical setting. Always wanted to know more about Castle Neuschwanstein, seems they did a really accomplished combination of fact and fiction. I guess they watched bavarien cop series, this Wachtmeister reminds me strongly of someone.... Wish I didn't waste my money on this. Never was able to get it started. It would just get to the main menu and crash from there. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling many times but no luck. Tried to get my money back from Steam but was over their 2 week refund policy. Contacted the publisher who asked me for my computer specs. I sent them to them the next day and I never heard from them again. Emailed them a couple of times after that but still nothing. That was many many months ago.. as a bavarian i especially like the setting. normally way more hardcore as a gamer but i think this is quite nice and especially the graphics and the story. This little gem has beautifull graphics (really) which reminded me of the old days when playing Sierra games (remember those?). The puzzles are certainly not too easy, had to use the help button here and there because I some puzzles were somewhat annoying :)The game offers a 'jump to location' map, which is really cool since it saves you a lot of walking. Also the game isnt too short and has a nice plot to it.. I play a lot of HOG but this one had far too much talking in it for me. Puzzles were good but not a lot of hidden objects and a bit slow for me.. This very short casual point-and-click adventure has much better storytelling and characterization than is usual for this genre. There are some nice hidden-object scenes and challenging (but fair) puzzle mini-games.Sounds great, right? Unfortunately, this game fails because the game engine is unbearably clunky. Usually you have to point and click, but there are a few key moments where you have to drag items instead, and there's no clear logic as to why you would need to do so. The engine also requires a very annoyingly precise level of pixel hunting, both to find usual items and to find items in hidden-object scenes.The dev team has a lot of potential! But they really need to 1) clean up the game engine, 2) add much more content for a released game.. You play the role of a Journalist employed by a mystery employer out to find out what is going on at the Neuschwanstein Castle where some unconventional renovations are going on.You get the help of a renowned Professor already on location for his own findings and demystification of the mysterious death of the Fairy-tale King.The more you look into things, the more mystery and puzzles you need to solve.You find out that the Castle was built by this famous Fairy-Tail King and the more you dig, the more questions you have than answers.You learn a lot about this king, his hobbies and his secrets, maybe even about a link to the Holy grail ?!?! But that has to be verified.Soon a murder happens on the Castle grounds and you start helping the police in their investigation not putting aside your own story.The story is very good, the twists and plots are fun. Loved the game. Don't forget to use your tools and inventory items when in hidden object puzzle, because they are needed some times.I recommend this game.. Unfortunately i won't recommend this game. Not because it was an awfull game, but mainly because it did not met my expectations. I hoped to have a nice hidden find game with an interesting story. In my opinion the story line was very weak and not that many puzzles to solve. Content including bonus is good for roughly four hours of gameplay.
